All the action from the APEC 2012 Micromouse contest in Florida USA
Objective:
For my second year university assignment we paired into groups of two and had the duration of the educational year to design, build and program a Micromouse robot to attempt to solve a maze. We had to develop and design both hardware and software. Our aim would be to develop our designs to the best working prototype within the time given.
The Micromouse should be able to navigate to the centre of a maze whilst mapping its movements, it should then attempt to explore the rest of the maze and once the maze has been mapped it will then return to the start and perform a speed run which will take the quickest route it found during the mapping process.
